What Grinds My Gears..

Does it piss anyone else off when someone talks bad about Twilight, even though they've never read the books? It certainly does piss me off. I don't think people should be judging the books that way, or based on the Twilight movie insanity.

I know. I hate it. It's becoming one of those things that you have to fear telling people you like it. It's like admitting you like Hannah Mantana.(not that I do) Hehe. People judge you when you tell them. But if they just took the time to read it, they would feel pretty stupid.

My sister read them over Christmas break, she's a teacher, and went into hiding while she read them. She usually calls everyday several time so it was weird when she didn't. So I was being mean and teasing her about them and my other sister and my niece on my husbands side took her side took me to the movies to see it and I wasn't convinced. Then my niece brought the books over after my daughters birthday party, DEC. 27. By New Years eve I was hiding in my car trying to finish B.D. missing out on an awesome party. Now they make fun of me because I'm always talking about it. I can seriously find a way to bring twilight in any subject. All of my friends ask me to please not talk about it anymore. I feel like Bella when she turns into a vamp. and everything is distracting to her and she has to remind herself what she should do. When I talk that's what I do.

I hate it when people talk about stuff when they don't know the first thing about it. Pisses me off too

lol....ALL my friends at work tease me about how we can be talking about NOTHING at all related to Twilight and I can somehow make a Twilight reference fit into the conversation. One of the guys was playing with his M & M's and someone said "John, don't play with your food."(yes i know that is Twilight related) So of course I go...."james, let's not play with our food"....my "brother" rolled his eyes and one of the girls asked "did you just call him James." my brother goes "Think about it..Twilight."

I do that with a girl at work. There isn't another person in the bakery who has read it. So she and I are always talking about it. Out manager get's mad at us when he finds us standing around just going over the book. It's happened way too many times. But it's something you can't help. When you find something in common with someone you have to go on about it.
