Twilight Scene from the book...

that you wish could have been in the movie...


mine is where Edward had just "attacked" Bella and they were laying on his couch and Alice and Jasper came in and Alice says "It sounded like you were having Bella for lunch, we came to see if you'd share." I think this would have been very funny.

I wish the Hopsital scene had gone a little diffrently in the movie, i wasnt a huge fan of Mrs stewarts acting in that scene for some reason.. I also agree that the meadow scene in the book would have been so much better than the one they did in the movie.. ALso, even though they kept it pretty innocent in both the book and movie, a little more intamicy in the movie wouldnt have hurt lol.. they kissed quite a bit in the book.. just not for long hehe.
One last suggestion, i liked how the whole family was dancing at prom in the book.. but they werent even there in the movie...That would have been neat to see.

Oh I defiantly agree. I completely forgot how all the Cullen's where dancing in the book. That was really neat in the book. It really would have been cool to see in the movie.

yeah I agree when i read that in the book I was like wtf why didn't they do it that way in the movie I liked it much better..huh ya know now that i really think of it that really sucks that they did it another way.lol

YEah that and the fact that Tyler was at the prom when he shouldn't have been, because he was at Bella's.

I think if they would have done the scene the way it was in the book then we really could have understand Edwards problem with Jacob cuz it was much clearer in the book than them just staring at each other in the movie.lol

I know. The way that they where starring each other down was messed up. When you watch it, it is almost like Jacob knows he's a werewolf. And he doesn't figure that out till New Moon. Or at least that is how I saw it. A werewolf and vampire stare down...

Ya thats my first clue that new moon is going to be very diffrent on film then in the book lol.. they set that up , the stare down.. so i am assuming they are going to by pass the fact that jacob doesnt know lol

all i know is the movie, New Moon, will be very interesting cuz ya know that atleast half the people who went to see twilight read new moon( if they didn't before twilight) so people are going to be looking for differences now

Another scene that I wish could have been in the movie was Edward telling Carlisle's story and a mention of the Volturi. I did notice the cross was in the movie, though I'm not sure Carlisle would have had it just sitting on the floor leaning against the wall because it meant a lot to him. I did love the wall art of the graduation caps...that was just too funny.

I watched the directors commentary version of the movie, and she said that the cross in the movie is supposed to be the cross from the book.. but i agree, why would it be on the floor ? lol guess they were just trying to add some of the details without really bringing attention to them..

The cross was one part of the book that caught my attention. I really wish they would have put that in. I was actually looking for it in the movie. Another part of the movie that I was looking for was the part when Edward and Bella where in Carlisle's office and Edward was explaining the picture. I actually wanted to see what they would make the Volturi look like. But I guess I'll have to wait for it.

Now, that i think about it, i guess they probably couldnt really show a painting of the Voluteri if they hadnt cast the parts yet lol.. that would make since..But i agree, it would have been nice to see those scenes..

I guess your right. They wouldn't have shown them when they didn't know who it would be. Hehe. I just think that part of the book was kinda important. I mean Stephanie was basically painting a path for the next book. The least they could have done is shown them talking about the paintings.

You missed seeing the CROSS??? it's at the foot of the stairs as Bella and Edward go up to the kitchen...when he says "I told them not to do this." it's in the lower left hand side.

Yes, but it was supposed to be a large cross. Not something insignificant.

There were several thing in the book that I wish was in the movie. Like...at the end when Alice's story of how she became a vampire was revealed. But...I guess they had a time limit on it or something. Hey, I would have gladly sat there for 4 hours and watched the whole movie if it was exactly like the book lol

I would have too. That was one thing about Harry Potter. They are pretty long movies, but, they are just like the book. So it's great to compare your images to those of another.

Harry Potter's not exactly like the books especially not Goblet of Fire, I felt they really rushed that movie. The challenges seemed one right after another instead of spaced out like they were in the book. And several other things too. But yeah I could have sat through a four hour movie of Twilight to see it as it was in the book.

There is a lot that I missed the meadow, the prom, the phone call from Charlie to Edward when Tyler showed up to pick up Bella, when Jasper tells Bella that she is worth the trouble. However I think the two scenes that I missed the most was the first night when Edward is driving Bella crazy and when they get out of the jeep before Baseball and has to erase her memory. I absolutely LOVE those parts. I think they are so sexy without being all out him all over her making out. I think they say a lot more about their relationship.

Yeah the drive home from Port Angelos and she realizes that he's driving 100 miles an hour and flips out...that would be funny just to see is expression when he has to drive "slow"...

Oh yeah, I forgot when Jasper told Bella she is worth it. That was one of those parts that I read over and over just to see the picture in my head over and over. Hehe

Yeah I sit there and listen to it on my ipod at work and just think dang that would have made a cool scene in the movie...or wow wish that scene could have been done correctly. That's when I think of most of my trivia questons too. I have a spare label sitting by me now that I used last night to write them out so I could remember them.
