Actors playing their parts

Okay, my boyfriends mom and I where talking and she agrees with me that Nikki Reed doesn't exactly make a good Rosalie. Rosalie was supposed to be basically Aphrodite. She was supposed to be this beautiful girl. But Nikki doesn't work as a blonde. She is gorgeous as a brunette though. But are we the only ones who thinks this?

When I was reading the book I did have Rosalie pictured out so different in my mind! But now that I have seen the Movie a million times I have gotten used to Rosalie.

Yeah you do begin to get used to her. But still. It's not how I pictured her. But beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

YEah she's nnot exactly what I had pictured as Rosalie ...but then neither is Edward...not that I don't like Rob in the part...it's just not how i had him pictured in my mind.

Yeah, Rob wasn't it either. I went through actors the other night and it was hard to find someone to play his part. He's too...well perfect.

I agree with you..all of the cullens were supposed to be these absolute perfect,beautiful beings & some of the choices are not that perfect to me like Nikki Reed but I love the movie anyway.lol

OMG! I so agree with you. I have been saying this for AWHILE. Noone I know agrees with me about it though. I dont think she is a bad actress, because she is not, but she isnt what I pictured Rosalie looking like. Actually I cant really think of anyone that looks the way I pictured her. They describe her to be so drop dead gorgeous that there really isnt anyone alive that can live up to what she is portrayed as looking like. Everyone else is great though, I know alot of people dont like Kristen Stewart being Bella but she was perfect. Bella is supposed to be just an ordinary girl, nothing special and kind of clutzy, exactly like Kristen Stewart.

I'm not entirely sure about Bella. First I thought she was perfect for the part but then I decided against it. I dunno. I can't really explain what Bella would be like. I think she does look the part but I dunno about the way she acts. Bella in my mind is too hard to pin down. I guess I'll have to read the books and watch the movie again.

Robert and Kristen are so innocent looking that I cant really picture them playing their roles for Breaking Dawn. I cant picture either of them in the birth/death scene. Even when I read it I kind of blank out in my mind when I read that part, whereas when I read the rest of the books I can see all of them in my mind like I was watching a movie.

I think she's perfect for the role...right now she kind of looks plain and ordinary, because that's how Bella is supposed to look...but she do the gorgeous thing too. She'll make a beautiful "vampire", if they end up even doing Breaking Dawn.

I'm pretty sure they will do Breaking Dawn. I wonder though if they will combine the last two books.... It might make for an even more interesting movie.

I agree with the Nikki Reed thing. I'm sure I could have come up with someone else to play her part in a heartbeat. I think Alice fit her description perfectly though. She's so cute!!!!
Honestly though....I liked Bella better in the book than in the movie. Her personality was just so much better in the book. Anyone agree???

Yeah I can agree with that. Kristen Stewart was a little dull in some aspects.

I was just reading twilight..again lol and i wsa thinking of who i could see in the part.. other than Rob P. Not that i dont like him, but he works for the movie edward, the book edward seems much deeper, more character to him.. ANyways, You know who came to mind? Tom Welling.. I htink thats his name, he place Clark on smallveille.. I think he would have made a really great Edward. In the book, Bella describes him as looking boyish compared to the others, yet still strong and tall..I think Tom could have played the beautiful innocent looking yet fierce vampire type lol any way.. i was just thinking.. what do you guys think?
Also, i cant help but picture the girl that played in Elf, and Yes Man with Jim Carry as Bella lol i just watched Yes Man so hats probably why, but she may have played that part well to..

I cant agree with you about Tom welling, I cant picture him as Edward. The person I think that would have been good if they had not picked Robert Pattinson was Jared Padalecki. He plays as Sam in Supernatural and as Dean on Gilmore Girls. But I do think Robert was the best chose. I read somewhere that he beat out over 5000 other actors for the part of Edward Cullen.

I have to agree. I think that Tom Welling would have been pretty good. My boyfriends mom thinks that James Franco would be perfect for Edward. I'm not too sure I agree 100 percent with that one. He doesn't look really boyish.

In the movie she was too monotone. But I don't really know how I would explain Bella's personality. At certain times it was in a way monotone. And other times it was kinda girlish.

I read somewhere that Rob wasn't who Stephenie had in mind for the part. She originally had someone else in mind. Can't remember who though, but by the time they got the deal to finally do Twilight the actor was too old to play a 17 year old.

I read that too. It was the lead singer of a music group. I also read that Robert got the part after doing love scenes with Kristen in Catherine's bed.

I can kind of see him doing it..I dont know, i am trying to imagine him looking really strong and manly..hes got the boyish down lol Hmm.. i will have to try and picture him while readding.. never thought about him before.

The one love scene in the movie was pretty dang hot lol But i have noticed something about Kristens love scenes.. she does them all pretty much the same way.. We went and say Adventure land, and her hand went to her co stars head the same way it did in twilight lol That must just be her kissing style lol

That's probably the case. She doesn't really know how to do those kinds of parts yet. Isn't she only like 19...hehe...I can't really be talking. I'm only 20. But she really hasn't done anything that is supposed to be that fiery.

Oh im not saying she didnt do a good job! LOL i loved that scene.. i just noticed that in her other movie.. she does it the same way.. Just an observation.. Looked hot in both, Ryan Rynolds or Rob Pattinson lol

Well maybe it's like a models walk. She has her own. hehe. I wounder if anyone else is like that. I'll have to pay attention.
